I love hanging out with my baby!

We went to the park twice this weekend and brought strawberry limeades from Sonic. What a wonderful weekend!

Hanging out in the sling

I have finally figured out the best way to put Micah in my Peanut Shell sling that he likes! Today we went to the library and he just smiled and cooed when before he had been fussy in his car seat. I guess he just enjoys being close to Mommy and getting to see all the action! Since he gets fussy in the evenings when I try to teach I am going to teach with him in the sling as well!

Micah's Three Month Photo Shoot

Yesterday Micah had his three month photo shoot! He was such a good baby through the entire process and only fell apart at the very end. Heidi, my neighbor, took these and did a marvelous job! Her business is called Frog Prints Photography! How cute!

It is hard for me to pass up a new book when I see it at Wal-Mart. Micah seems to be enjoying our reading time! I hope that he will enjoy reading when he gets older!

Party at Uncle Dan's House

Today, I went to a party with Mommy and Daddy at Uncle Dan and Auntie Jo's house. Aunt Rachel and Aunt Keli were also there. I had a great time chillin' and getting to watch TV and everybody playing with the guitar.

This Is My Bear

This is my favorite outfit of him thus far. I know that he will outgrow it so quickly and then I will cry!

A day with Micah!

7:30am: I went from 8:00pm until 5:45am without a feeding! Mommy was very proud of me!

After stretching and waking up, Mommy changed my diaper and put a fresh onesie on me! I like being naked!

8:00am: It is playtime. I love playing with my elephant head and my monkey head and touching my soft blankie!
8:30am: Feed time. Yummy! I am still not tired, so Mommy puts me on my playmat. I can really grasp the monkey now!

9:30am: Naptime for me! I am sleepy after all that playing!

11:45am: I wake up from my long nap hungry so it is time for lunch. Daddy comes home and plays with me during his lunch break and then after he leaves Mommy reads to me. This little piggy....

I practice sitting up and talking. I am really vocalizing now, especially when Mommy or Daddy talk to me!

1:45pm: Time for another nap! I sleep for about an hour and after another feed (2:45pm), Mommy puts me in the stroller and we visit my friend Evan across the street!


After we visit with the neighbors, Mommy makes sure I have tummy time. This is tiring work, but I am really holding my head up now!




4:15pm: Time for another nap before the evening. Mommy feeds me at 5:00pm and then I play until about 6:30pm. Mommy puts me in the car seat and we travel to a lady's house for a baby shower hosted by the Stillwater Music Teachers. I am really the star of the evening and laughed and cooed. I think Mommy was impressed with how good I was. I got some board books and toys that will be fun to play with tomorrow. On the way home, I fall asleep. Mommy feeds me and puts me to bed where I eventually go to asleep by 8:30pm. Good night!

Bricktown!

I am going to start this blog so I can do a better job of archiving Micah's adventures and achievements! Last night, Micah went to Bricktown! A friend of ours, Jenny, came down and watched the baby while Brent and I rode the water taxi. Jenny took Micah along the canal, to IHOP, and to Bass Pro. He did better than I expected. I of course was all nervous but had a great time. After riding the water taxi, we went to the ballpark and watched the Redhawks play the Salt Lake City Bees! Go Redhawks!
